softcanvas began on a rainy Sunday afternoon, a bored 6-year-old, and a plain fleece blanket we grabbed just to pass the time. We drew on it with fabric markers, and within an hour the whole family was crowded around it, coloring together. When we washed it and the blanket came out blank again, ready for a brand-new design, we knew we had something special.
